The price of an injection mold can be final or preliminary depending on whether the customer has a 2d technical drawing, a 3D design or whether the quote is based on photos, sizes or weight of the final part. The price of the injection mold is also influenced by whether the mold is to be cold-channel or hot-channel, what steel the injection mold is to be created from, how many cavities and other parameters.
The cost of a mold for injection molding machines depends on many factors, including:
– Injection mold size: the larger the injection molding die, the more material it takes to make it, which increases the cost of producing the injection mold.
– Complexity of mold design: The more complex the mold design, the more time and labor it requires, which increases the price of the injection mold.
– The materials used to manufacture the mold: The use of more expensive materials, such as specialized steel metal alloys or specialized plastics, can significantly increase the cost of injection molds
– The technology used to make injection molding dies: The use of modern technology, such as CNC machining, can increase the cost of injection molds, but at the same time allows the production of more accurate and complex molds.
Quantities of injection molding dies: The cost per injection mold can be higher or lower, depending on the number of pieces ordered.
Therefore, the price of an injection mold is usually a case-by-case basis, and the final cost will come from a combination of the above factors.
An important factor affecting the price of an injection mold is the availability and cost of the metal used to produce it. In recent years, the prices of both steel and various plastics have risen significantly, which directly affects the cost of manufacturing injection molds.
What if the customer provides us with a 3D design, a technical drawing or two at the same time. In this case, in order to estimate the cost of making an injection mold, we additionally need to determine:
– how many nests are to be molded
– The hardness of the steel from which it is to be made or how many moldings are planned to produce, for example, during the year of use of the mold significantly affects the price of the mold for the injection molding machine (we advise on the selection of hardness of the punch and die)
– The cost of the mold for the injection molding machine, depending on whether it is to be hot- or cold-channel
– what tolerances are acceptable affects the final price of the injection mold
– The cost of the injection mold also depends on the surface finish (matte or high gloss)
– what material will be injected also affects the final cost of making the injection mold

You always sign a contract with the Polish company Fullbax Ltd.
Payments are made to the Polish company Fullbax Sp. z o.o. in zlotys or US dollars. You yourself choose which currency you prefer to pay with. We prefer US dollars.
30% after signing the contract, 70% after full approval of the molded parts, video of the injection mold operation, and after the mold is picked up by the transport operator.
Shipping samples from China is included in the price of the injection mold. You do not pay anything extra.
